Sing is about Buster Moon, a theater owner struggling to keep the doors open. The idea of the film is to hold a singing competition to help save his theater from being taken over by the bank. He arranges to hold the competition with $1,000 in prize money. Unfortunately his blind secretary adds an extra two zeros to the contest flyer turning the $1,000 into $100,000 and all of the flyers get blown out of the office window before Buster gets to see how they turned out. Buster Moon is unaware that the reason he gets such a massive turn out for the competition is because the the typo on the flyer.

This is what brings out our key characters that add so much fun to the movie. They are made up of everyday ordinary people that all need to search within to find their inner star. And for a lot of the characters, watching their journey is a lot of fun.

My daughter really loved the music in the film and the writers picked songs that really complimented the actors singing. The movie grabbed my daughter's full attention and see never took her eyes off the screen. She was laughing a giggling throughout a majority of the movie , she even interacted with the screen from time to time.

Any movie that can keep not only me, but also my daughter entertained throughout will always get a great rating in my book. I give this film 4 out of 5 stars and I recommend it for any family to go out and enjoy.
